CIG Life Insurance

CIG Pannónia Life Insurance Plc. was founded in late 2007 by well-known and acknowledged Hungarian individuals, including professionals with valuable know-how and significant experience gained in the insurance industry. As a primary objective, the company set to sell insurance products promoting financial self-care, focusing on unit-linked life insurance. CIG Pannónia Life Insurance launched its sales activities in Hungary in May 2008. The first step of its regional expansion was the opening of the Romanian branch office in May 2009. Later, in September 2010, it began its sales activities in Slovakia through cross-border services.
After one of the largest IPOs of the recent years, motivating the widest group of private investors to become shareholders, CIGPANNONIA  shares have been initiated to the Budapest Stock Exchange (BET) in November 2010. Investors have been trading with CIGPANNONIA shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange since 8 November 2010. It is a goal of CIG Pannónia to have its shares included in the BUX index playing a major role in the trading of BET as a member of Category "A".
