Alro

ALRO is the biggest aluminum producer in South-East Europe, with a production capacity of around 260,000 tones per year. The plant was privatized in 2002 with Marco International group. ALRO shares are listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. For the past 40 years ALRO has been making an important contribution to supporting Romania's economic development and external trade, providing jobs for about 3,600 people, and supporting more than 20,000 family members and workers in ancillary sectors.
