What we say

When you choose between a career in journalism and one in public relations you know that PR will never turn you into a star. With few exceptions, PR people are rarely known by name - they are better known by what they do, who they work for and with what results.
Although journalists talk to us on a daily basis, and this is how it should be actually, they seldom talk about us, as an industry. And this is how it should be, actually. We are in the business of making headlines for our clients, not for ourselves. But when they do ask us about our trade, we do respond. We feel that, the more they understand us, the more people understand what we do and to what purpose, the easier it is for us to do our job properly.
